Maltese Castle Hotel in Lozenets
Definitely one of the most beautiful small resorts in Bulgaria is Lozenets. The town has cozy atmosphere, beautiful style and really great hotels. Maltese Castle Hotel is located in complex “Oasis” in the Black Sea resort of Lozenets, Bulgaria. The complex itself consists of several buildings, restaurants, spa, private beach and hotel. I’ve always wondered what the motivation of people who buy these holiday homes – apartment block on the beach in Lozenets. Let’s make a simple bill – one-bedroom apartment worth 150,000 EUR – for the money a family can rest luxury anywhere in the world twice a year for 15 years.
But let’s not stray from the subject and tell you about Maltese Castle. What won me over was calm beach and somewhat insular nature of the whole complex. It really is great. The room is exquisitely decorated with attention to detail – something very rarely seen in native hotels. The fresh sea colors that set the tone for beach mood. The bathroom was lovely – warm colors. The ancient elements follow the whole interior. The common parts are well maintained – with large pools and sunbeds always free.
Service is generally level, although waiters to presume upon a short acquaintance a little more than necessary. The food in both the restaurant is good, with perhaps the most extensive selection of wines in the region. What I do not make any sense is that investors are obviously invested a lot in the complex and have created a peaceful corner for rest of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
Omaya eco-village in Bulgaria
Omaya eco-village is situated on the Bulgarian-Greek border. In the complex there are only 6 houses, a total area of land is an impressive 500 acres – a guarantee for peace and minimal chances of collision with other guests or staff. The houses are nestled in the forest – made of clay, stone and wood. Located away from the paths, making them ideal for total privacy. The interior is in harmony with the environment and amenities are not lacking. The bathroom is unexpectedly large. Attention to detail and authenticity are visible everywhere.
In Omaya are two fabulous lakes, besides being incredibly beautiful suitable for fishing. Have fed catfish, carp and pike, and are available for guests who want to try their luck or skill (which is what I have). We had the pleasure to catch a few pike in a particularly spectacular way. First in line to catch small rudd, which is used as bait for pike prey. Pike stalking and pouncing on the little fish – and in cases when it is all swallowed the hook. The shady small wooden benches are a great idea. Throughout the set contains many idyllic places for recreation, picnic or barbecue. Walking paths are also magical, even mystical. I must admit that at times I covered a little paranoid that something will jump out of bushes or a bear will patted my back, but aware of absurd fear.
There is also small decorative lake for recreation. The sense to plunge into the pool in the middle of the forest is indescribable. Silence, the smell of forest, magnificent scenery create a perfect backdrop for relaxation at the pool. The restaurant is small with a limited menu but everything we tried was fresh and delicious. There are several types of homemade brandy. Some of the products grown here and this is evident from the wonderful flavor of herbs and vegetables. For the first time I tried a salad of cabbage, seasoned with fresh basil and mint and I must admit that I fell in love the selection of herbs.

W Hotel in Istanbul is located in sophisticated Besiktas – steps away from the Bosphorus and Dolmabahce Palace. The area is great if you’re not the first time in Istanbul and have seen most of the binding sites. The fee is ten minutes by taxi, about 5 minutes is luxury Nisantasi shopping district. The location is very convenient if you want to visit luxury restaurants – most of which are located on hills or on the shore of the Bosphorus. Modern clubs are also nearby. The room is large (30 square meters) with a very high ceiling. The interior is modern and here, with dim lighting and accent lighting. The bed is a trademark of W hotels – is really comfortable and the pillows. The 32-inch TV is behind glass retractable screen, which is a great accent in the room. A large desk you can find any treats. QR code takes you to the Iphone application of W hotels. The wardrobe is large enough, even if you have a lot of luggage. Robes are great – very soft and comfortable. Washpot is part of the room, built-in niche. The bathroom has separate shower with large non-standard, which is placed after the IQ test (which often fizzle).
