When going on holiday from the UK there are a number of popular tourist destinations, but one of the all-time favourites is Majorca, located in the Mediterranean just south of Spain. Although it is quite popular year round, many Britons particularly enjoy spending time there in the winter when there doesn’t seem to be any reprieve from the cold and snow. Of course Majorca is lovely any time of year as it has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

The Spanish hotel chain Sol Melia has prepared a new proposal for tourists, vacationers with children. Now her clients can relax in the company of characters from the Flintstones animated series. The program Flintstones Land includes 11 hotels in Spain and 4 in Mexico. At the time of registration, the children receive a special gift and are recorded in the children’s clubs the opportunity to participate in specially designed training programs.
Experienced instructors help children to participate in themed entertainment such as rock climbing, camping, swimming and more. Kids can also try the “kitchen of Betty,” which includes chicken wings, pasta, “brontoburgeri” ice cream and fruit.
In addition, some hotels of the Sol Melia chain could accommodate in a room decorated in Flintstone style.

Alicante definitely is the city, which can make everyone happy and having perfect holiday. The city has beautiful cafes among palms of the sea boulevard, great nightlife, nice beaches and so on. The boutique hotel La Residencia, situated in the mountains Tramontana Northwest Spanish island of Majorca, has launched a unique project to restore the ancient olive groves. The hotel complex stretches over 130,000 square meters, much of this area is the mountain spurs, which for hundreds of years had olive groves and carob trees. In the last 50 years olive groves are very neglected, but has recently seen the return of society to the real values in life and consumption of organic products, so that proper land use becomes a priority. The hotel La Residencia has signed an agreement with local farmers to work together to recover forests in the mountains. Currently olive trees should be trimmed of weeds and bushes, choking them. Moreover, trees are pruned, they can give more yield, which in turn will be used for the production of ecological olive oil. After several years the hotel plans to register its own trademark and below it to sell product. Given the long history of the hotel and that is part of the chain Orient-Express, it will certainly have a unique taste.
